Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday (November 23, 2014) at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. A rosary service will immediately follow the visitation at 4 p.m. Sunday at Bailey-Love Mortuary. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday (November 24, 2014) at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, with Father Ron Rieder officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Huntington.

Rita was born on August 17, 1929 in Huntington, the daughter of Clyde and Lena (Hergenrother) Rice. She married Robert E. Borton on November 12, 1950 in Huntington, and he preceded her in death on January 8, 2006.
She graduated from Huntington High School in 1947. She retired from Triad-Utrad in 1994 after over 20 years of service. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Huntington. She enjoyed putting puzzles together and canning jelly. She especially loved spending time with her family, having raised a granddaughter, Mary Borton Brown, as her own.
Survivors include her son - Todd (Lori) Borton of Huntington; two daughters - Cynthia (Dennis) Albertson of Hamilton and Eileen Farrell of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Rita is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter - Pamela Borton, and one son - Neil Borton.
