Nov. 17, 1956 - Nov. 13, 2014 Robert, known as "Robbie" or "Bob" L. Redding, Jr. of Waldorf, MD, formerly of Gautier, MS passed away on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014. Bob was born in Bastrop, LA on Nov. 17, 1956 and was raised in Moss Point, MS. He graduated from Moss Point High School and served in the Navy for 13 years as a Navy Counselor. He graduated from Mid America Theological Seminary with a AA and attended MGCCC, and University of Southern MS. He worked as an electrician at Ingalls Shipbuilding, served as both a pastor and music director at several churches, and was a manager at several of the Radio Shack stores on the Gulf Coast. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Redding, Sr. and his brother, Glenn Redding. He is survived by his mother, Verona S. Redding of Pascagoula, MS, his wife, Carol L. Redding of Waldorf, MD, his daughter, Elizabeth L. Postell (Billy) of Waldorf, MD, brothers David A. Redding(Janet) and Roger L. Redding of Gautier, MS., his grandchildren Lorelei Burke, Jaxon Postell and Emma Postell, all of Waldorf, MD, and nieces and nephews Jamie Redding-Hartley, Christina Holmes(Stephen), Jeffery Redding(Ashleigh), Jaiden Redding and Camron Redding, all of Gautier, MS. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014 at 11:00AM at Heritage Cemetery in Waldorf, MD. Johnson Funeral Services, White Plains, Md is serving the family.
