MORGAN Jr., John, 85, of Nashville, formerly of Tullahoma, went to be with his wife of 64 years, Ruth Brasher Morgan, on March 21, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Mary “Mae” Morgan Fagg and John H. Morgan; and a sister, Sarah Anna Morgan. He is survived by a sister, Alice Morgan Huber; nieces, Alice (Ray) Street and Debra VanFossen; great-nieces and nephews, Erica (Doug) VanFossen Leners, Jared VanFossen, Jeremy Street and Ashley (Wesley) Street Manning. John served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Masons and Shriners Lodge 762 and was of the Baptist Faith. A celebration of his life was held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 25, in the Forest Lawn Chapel with Bro. Terry Campbell officiating. Interment followed, with military honors, in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Goodlettsville.
