Doris J. Banfield (nee Sprenger), died February 23, 2006, age 78. Born in Cleveland, on July 31, 1927; graduated from John Hay High School in 1945. Beloved mother of Elizabeth, Kat and Carolyn; grandmother of three; sister of Rev. Alan Sprenger of Columbus, and the late Ruth Bittner, Robert Sprenger, and Carol Bartlett. Preceeded in death by husbands, Bernard Thornton and Arthur Banfield. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 28 at St. Brendan's Parish in Bothell, WA.
