Lois Jones Hobbs age 75 of Jonesville, VA was born in Lee County, VA on Thursday, August 31, 1939 and passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at the Wellmont Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, VA. She had been a resident of Jonesville all of her life. Lois had been a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her first husband Mack Jones, second husband Gail Hobbs and her parents Patrick Hagan and Emma Kate Rutherford.Lois is survived by two sons Steve Jones and wife, Debroah of Jonesville, VA and Jack Jones of Morristown, TN, three daughters Margaret Jones of Jonesville, VA, Peggy Harmon of Duffield, VA and Jennifer Jones of Jonesville, VA. She is also survived by three grandchildren Christopher Jones, Amanda Nelson and Kaitlyn Kinser, five great-grandchildren Hagan Nelson, Kantor Davis, Allie Jones, Emma Kate Jones and Sadie Jones, two sisters Georgia Lawson of Rogersville, TN, Maxie Holland of Morristown, TN and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Province Funeral Home Sanctuary in Jonesville, VA with Timmy Robbins officiating.Visitation will be from 6:00 PM Saturday until the time of the service.The graveside service will be 11:00 AM Sunday at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, VA.The family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:00 to go to the cemetery.
