Obituary for Curtis Fleming
Curtis Dexter Fleming, 90, died November 19, 2014, at his home.
A native of Carroll County, VA, he was the son of the late Robert and Victoria Smith Fleming. Mr. Fleming was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, and recipient of The Purple Heart and The French Legion of Honor medal for his bravery and service in WWII. He was a retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service and of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are his wife, Maureen Jackson Fleming of the home; one daughter Vicki Rae Twilley; one sister Loraine Butcher; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Paul Jimenez. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens with full military rites.
