Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 at Good Hope Baptist Church for Mr. Mark Watts, 65, of Columbia, who died Wednesday, Nov. 19 in Columbia. Interment was in the Good Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Denny Patterson officiated at the services. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20 at Good Hope Baptist Church.
A native of Columbia, he was a truck driver and a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Watts and brother, Steve Watts.
Survivors include his wife, Vermell Watts of Good Hope; mother, Eula Watts of Improve; sons, Ashley Watts (Denise) of Petal and Andrew Watts (Merida) of Oloh; sister, Charlotte Pennell (Ken) of Improve; brother, David Watts (Judy) of Improve; two grandchildren, Cody and Allie Watts and many nieces and nephews.
Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
