Robert Gilmore, Sr, married a woman whose Christian name was Catherine, maiden name unknown, married about 1764 in Chester Co. Pennsylvania?

Note: In the Administration of the Estate of Colonel Ephraim Jordan there is mention of Catherine Gilmore, dated 3 November 1821, where as her Estate received $2.62 from the Estate of Colonel Ephraim Jordan 1764-1820. It is probable that she was the widow of Robert Gilmore, Sr. who died November 4, 1814. It also states that her daughter, Mary Gilmore Jordan was the Administratrix for Catherine Gilmore's Estate.

McClure on 10 October 1785, Jefferson Co., Virginia/ Kentucky. They are buried at the Upper Indiana Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Palmyra Twp. Knox Co. Indiana

2. John Gilmore born 11 January 1769 in New London Twp., Chester Co., Pennsylvania. He married Jane Falls on 20 February 1793 in Jefferson Co., Va./Ky. He died 16 March 1818 in Knox Co., Indiana

3. Mary Gilmore born 1772 in New London Twp., Chester Co. Pennsylvania and died in 1855 in Harrison Twp., Knox Co. Indiana Mary Gilmore married Ephraim Jordan on 2 November 1791, Jefferson Co. Va/Ky. Buried Jordan-Gilmore Cemetery, Palmyra Twp. Knox Co. Indiana.

4. Catherine Gilmore born 1775 in New London Twp., Chester Co. Pennsylvania and died on 21 February 1834 in Knox Co. Indiana. She married Thomas Jordan on 29 June 1791 in Jefferson Co. Va/Ky. Buried Lower Indiana Presbyterian Cemetery, Harrison Twp. Knox Co. Indiana

5. Robert Gilmore, Jr. born 1776 in New London Twp. Chester Co. Pennsylvania and died in 1825 in Knox Co. Indiana. He married Susannah Burge 17 March 1796 in Jefferson Co., Va./Ky.
