Sandy was born on June 27, 1938, in Richmond, Indiana, the daughter of Charles and Eudora (Gilbert) Ladd. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Cambridge City.
Sandy worked for Rodefelds Warehouse in Richmond for many years. She was a longtime Sunday School teacher at Pershing United Methodist Church. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds.
Survivors include her aunt Helen Thayer, cousins Michael Eads (Brenda), Vickie Lewis, Marna Smith, Jon Eads (Kelli) all of Portland, Indiana and Lisa DeWitt (Don) of Syracuse, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Charlene Jo Ladd.
Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing, Indiana.
Memorials may be directed towards the National Kidney Foundation or the donor’s choice.
