Services for Wesley Paul Acton, 48, of Carrollton, were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, at the Gibson-Rice Funeral Home in Carrollton with the Rev. George Rattelmuller officiating. Burial was in Carroll Memory Gardens, Carrollton.

Mr. Acton, who died Saturday, Aug. 30, 1986, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital, was born March 17, 1938 in Arlington, Minn., the son of George and Anna Koepp Acton. He was married to Judith Ann Barnes on March 8, 1959 in Carrollton.

He moved to Carrollton from Minnesota in 1953. He was employed by the Ford Motor Company and had served in the United States Navy. He had attended the Lutheran Church, and was a member of the National Rifle Association and Ducks Unlimited.

Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, Jimmy Dale Acton, Carrollton, and daughter, Tammy Killbreth; his mother, Mrs. Anna Koepp Hughes, Carrollton; four sisters [living]; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests contributions to the Heart Fund in memory of Mr. Acton.
