Patrick Michael Turner was born on December 31, 1947 in Waterloo, Iowa, son of Kenneth R. Turner and Joyce (Leask) Turner. He graduated from East High School in 1967 and served in the US Navy from 1967-1973.
He married Judy Triggiani on December 21, 1974 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. This December would have marked their 40th wedding anniversary.
Patrick was employed at John Deere from 1972 – 2007; retiring with 35 years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, devoted husband and father.
Patrick passed away from cancer at the age of 66 on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife; two sons: David Turner of Aledo, IL and Shannon Turner of Eugene, OR; five grandchildren: Tony, Luke, Sarah, Hannah and Matthew; a sister Phyllis (Ron) Nordman of Waterloo. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
