Linda V. Newlon Day Gross, of Paw Paw, W.Va., was called home by the Lord on Saturday, November 15, 2014.

She was born May 8, 1946 in Thurmont, Md., and was the daughter of the late John William Newlon and Elsie G. Carter.

Linda was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by two brothers — John Wayne Newlon and Clem (Dick) Newlon and her husband, Lloyd Day.

Surviving are — her husband, Carson E. Gross of Paw Paw; two sons, Kenneth Day and wife Latonya, of Paw Paw and Carson E. Gross, Jr. of Paw Paw; two daughters, Karen Hott and husband, Phil, of Paw Paw and Mary Ott and financée, Kevin, of Paw Paw; eight granddaughters, Jill Whitacre and husband, Jason of Capon Bridge, Jamie Ott and fiancée, Eric; Sierra Hott, Lauren Ott, Jordan Price, Laken Day and Janae Hott, all of Paw Paw and Carlin Gross of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; three grandsons, Andy Day, Kegan Day and Carter Gross all of Paw Paw; three great-grandchildren, Brantly Whitacre, Lilah Watkins and Adalynn Ott.

Her body was donated to the WV Human Gift Registry in Morgantown, W.Va.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Kimble Funeral Home, 188 Moser Avenue, Paw Paw.
