Virginia Todd, 82, died Monday, November 17, 2014 at her home. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home.

Born April 12, 1932 in Hamlin, Virginia was a daughter of the late Luther Lafayette "Jack" and Beulah Linda (Harris) Parks. She was a longtime resident of Anson and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Virginia worked for MSystem Grocery store for many years and later retired from the Anson Housing Authority. She was the widow of Charles Underwood and Bennie Todd. Virginia also was preceded in death by longtime companion, Jack Thompson.
Virginia was also preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, a granddaughter (Brandi Hilliard) and a great grandson (Isaac Lozoya).

Survivors include Eddie and Kay Underwood, Linda Isbell, Dynette and Eric France, Donald and Rebecca Todd, Debbie and Butch Vance, David and Peggy Todd, Shelly Todd, Kristy and Josalin Lozoya, Rhoda and Jo Edd Boaz, Holly and Waylon Collins, Sleta Parks, Martha Todd, Theresa Parks, Cathy Parks, eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
