Mr. Schroeder was born in Belford Township, and later moved to Hankinson. He was employed in local business houses, and, while of a quiet nature, made a large acquaintance and was exceptionally well liked by those who knew him.
Funeral services were held from the home of his sister, Mrs. E. A. King, Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Clark, of the Congregational Church, preached the funeral sermon and Miss
Helen Kinn sang two songs. Many beautiful flowers were sent by his many friends.
Deceased is survived by four sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Chas. Hein, Mrs. Reinhart Bellin, Mrs. Peter Lenzen, Mrs. E. A. King, John A. and Emil Schroeder. Mrs. Lenzen was unable to attend the funeral.
