She was the daughter of John and Mary (Kemper) Langenkamp. On Jun 17, 1950, she married Joseph L. Vian, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are five sons: Ken (Cathy), Bill, Harold and Gerald (Lori), all Celina, and Dan (Ann Christine), Rockford; four daughters: Kathy (Jerry) Hoover, West Manchester, Marge (Mike) Kuether, Ft. Loramie, Janice (Roger) Diller, St. Anthony, and Helen (Gary) Moeder, New Bremen; and twenty-one grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren.

Deceased are five brothers: Hugo, Werner, Victor, Frank and John.

A homemaker, she was an avid shuffleboard and card player. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood. She and her husband were the original owners of the Blue Ribbon Feed Mill, Carthagena. She volunteered for 25 years at Wayne Hospital, Greenville,State of the Heart Hospice and Meals on Wheels.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Nicholas Church, Osgood.
