FUNERAL SERVICES ARE FOR JAVA LADY SATURDAY
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 15, for Mrs. Christ Schnaible, 64, with services at the home at 1:30 p.m., and St. Paul's Lutheran church at 2 p.m. with Reverend L A Westenberger officiating.
Magdalena Schnaible nee Naasz was born October 23, 1882, in Hoffnungstal, South Russia, where she resided until May 05, 1893, when her parents came to the United States, settling on a farm near Java.
On March 28, 1897, she was confirmed into the Lutheran faith by Reverend A Otterberg. On February 22, 1903, she was united in marriage to Christ Schnaible and the couple made their home on a farm near Java. Later they moved to Java where she resided until March 09, at 7:40 p.m. when death released her from a heart ailment that she had borne patiently for more than 20 years.
She is survived by her widower and four sons, Berthold and Otto of Java, Arnold of Lodi, California, and Traugott of Aberdeen; 7 grandchildren; five brothers, George, Christ and Ed Naasz of Java, Adolph Naasz of Mobridge, Ludwig Naasz of Terry, Montana; and two sisters, Mrs. Gottlieb Feichtner of Java, and Mrs. John H Fiechtner at Mobridge.
One daughter, Delilah preceded her in 1919.
