Patricia Ann LaMar, 72, of Grafton, passed away early Tuesday morning, November 18, 2014, at her residence in the presence of her loving family. She was born December 12, 1941 in Kingwood, WV, a daughter of the late Hubert Leo LaMar and the late Hazel Boring LaMar.

Survivors include her children, Donald R. Doman, Jr. and his wife Teresa of Kingwood, Kenneth Doman and his companion Belinda Henderson of Reedsville, Rodney Doman of Huttonsville, WV and his wife Shawnee of Masontown, WV, Rena Taylor and her husband Alan of Masontown, WV, Shenna Daft and her companion Paul McDaniel of Grafton, Nicholas Doman and his companion Kristen Queen of Grafton and Nicole Doman and her companion Dustin Queen of Grafton; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Darrell LaMar of Grafton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband Donald R. Doman, Sr.; a daughter, Marie Burrows; a son, Kevin Doman; a daughter, Veronica Daft and her husband (son-in-law) David Daft; two grandchildren, Angel and Joy Taylor; a great-grandson, Braxton Doman; three brothers, Hubert Jr., James, and Arthur LaMar; and two sisters, Betty Miller and Rita Gail LaMar.

Pat dearly loved her family. She was the center of their worlds.

She loved spending time with her children and all of her grandchildren, especially two great-grandchildren that were particularly close to her at home and helped to take care of her, Rayah and Alivia.

Pat enjoyed working in her garden, with flowers, cooking and trying new recipes, listening to country music and playing dominoes. Pat was a very selfless, giving and compassionate person who would open her home to anyone, and help anyone who needed it. Although she could be very outspoken, she loved to make people laugh and had a great sense of humor.

Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home on Thursday, Nov. 20th and Friday, November 21st. The funeral service will be at 1:30 PM with Reverend Sonny McNear officiating. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover.
