Bonnie Jo Emerson Chandler, age 82, a resident of De Queen, died Monday, November 17, 2014 in the De Queen Medical Center. She was born to Louis and Elsie Flournoy Emerson on February 12, 1932 in De Queen, Arkansas.
She was an owner and operator of Chapel Hill Store and a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, flowers and gardening, riding around with her husband Joe and deer hunting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe Chandler and two brothers, Earl David Emerson and Leon Emerson.
She is survived by Three sons and daughters-in-law; Joe Edward and Linda Chandler, Dennis and Patti Chandler and Gaylon and Teresa Chandler all of De Queen. Four Grandsons; Terry Chandler and Wife Tammy of Bryant, Arkansas, Chris Chandler of El Dorado, Arkansas, Nicky Chandler and Wife Jessica of Horatio, Arkansas and Jonathan Chandler and wife Ashlee of De Queen. Four granddaughter; Melissa Threet, and husband Marvin Jr. of De Queen, Natasha Wilson and husband Bryan, Britney Icenhower and husband Jerramy of De Queen and Shasta Guinn and husband Brandon of Horatio, Arkansas and 17 great-granchildren.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Jo Chandler will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 20th in the Chapel Hill Cemetery with Bro. Shane Haarmeyer officiating,
