Michael Lee Glover, Sr., 57 of Elizabethtown, died Monday, November 17, 2014 at his home. He was a native of Tompkinsville and was a painter. He loved his family and making people laugh. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Jean Gillenwater Glover. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Melynda G. Glover; a son, Michael Lee Glover, Jr. of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Brigitte (Eric) Delaney of Charlestown, IN; two step daughters, Amber (Elijah) Lessig of Pekin, IN and Autumn Willinger of Jeffersonville, IN; his father, Lonnie Glover of Louisville; one brother, Jimmy Glover of Indiana; three sisters, Judy Foster and Debbie Hobbs both of Louisville and Beverly Hack of Madisonville and nine grandchildren, Austin Delaney, Kristen Delaney, Mia Lessig, Ethan Delaney, Kyron Woodley, Layla Lessig, Caleb Lonnie Glover, Kaniyah Woodley and Erica Wilkerson. The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and continue after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
