Teresa graduated from Eastbrook High School in 1987 and Ivy Tech in 1995, where she received her nursing degree. She worked as an LPN at Emily Flinn Community Nursing Home and, more recently, at Rolling Meadows. She attended Friendship Baptist Church.
Teresa lived life to the fullest, and the sky was the limit for her. She enjoyed going to concerts, theme parks, and to the YMCA. She was a very dedicated mother who was very giving, had a great sense of humor, and loved to cook, especially her meatloaf!
Surviving Teresa are daughter, Brittany Ann (Johnny) Chapman; son, Tyler Mitchell Lee (Chase) Davidson; partner, Mike Cecil; ex-husband, Mitchell Davidson; brothers, Lonnie Wayne Fawns, Troy Lee Fawns, and Jason (Jessica) Fawns; sisters, Lena (Kevin) Houseman, Stacy Mae Fawns, Heather (Jason) Hawkins, and Rhoda Pearl (Bill) Goff; 15 nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; Loretta Houseman Sperling, and all her special friends at Rolling Meadows; and second parents, Dick and Marge Brown.
Also preceding her in death were brother, Hank William Fawns; grandparents, Alta Mae Purvis, Alford Fawns, Carl Shellenbarger, and Pearl Shellenbarger.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, from 4-8 p.m. at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Services, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
- The funeral service will be on Thursday at 1 p.m. with Bruce Koontz officiating. Burial will be at Estates of Serenity.
