A native of Washington County, Mrs. Batchelor had lived in Baldwin County, most of her life. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Mary Edwards, Mrs. Clarice Stewart and Mrs. Virginia Johnson, all of Milledgeville, and Mrs. Martha Seabolt of Athens, Ga.; a son, James Sidney Batchelor of Fort McPherson, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. Henry Osborne of Milledgeville; and two brothers, Luther Sanders and S.J. Sanders, both of Milledgeville.
Martin Funeral Home of Milledgeville has charge of arrangements.
