Sheila "Muffy" Meadows, 56, of Seth, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014 after a long battle with cancer.
Born Feb. 26, 1958 to the late Ed and Nell Shelton, she was also preceded in death by brother, Johnny Shelton.
She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. Muffy enjoyed life and her laugh was contagious everywhere she went. She was a "jack of all trades," being blessed with many talents, from beautician to sewing bridesmaid dresses to creating an array of floral arrangements. Each new creation was sure to put a smile on anyone's face.
Muffy is survived by her husband, Danny Meadows; daughters, Sarah Miller, Emily (Josh) Wells and Hannah (Zach) Cole; sister, Judy (Sam) May; brother, Terry (Trish) Shelton; grandchildren, Anna "Miss Munch" Wells, Ava "Grimmey" Wells, Cooper Wells and Joseph Miller; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, with Minister Scott Farley officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery, Orgas.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, where everyone is welcome to come say their farewells and celebrate this beautiful life, as she will be missed by many.
Condolences may be sent to the family at leonardjohnsonfuneralhome.com.
