Tom was an ironworker for Local 12 for more than 36 years, previously worked for the railroad, was a longshoreman and was a machinist at the Watervliet Arsenal, where he met the love of his life, Amelia.
He was a 50-year member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Schenectady Lodge 251.
He earned the highest degree; the Pilgrim Degree of Merit in 1982.
Tom rendered volunteer service at the Stratton V.A. Medical Center on behalf of the Loyal Order of Moose for more than 30 years, and provided countless other civic work.
He was also was a member of the Brunswick Rod and Gun Club and the 700 Club.
In his younger days, Tom was such an avid swimmer he was invited to join the Olympic team, he loved to read and enjoyed photography.
Tom was a self-taught computer technician and could do anything to which he set his mind.
He was the beloved husband of the late Amelia Pagano Cossack.
Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.
