MOUNDVILLE | L. C. Chavers, age 73, of Moundville, died November 17, 2014, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Brother Chuck Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Methodist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Chavers; daughters, Donna Chavers and Michelle McHaney; and grandchild, Alex McHaney.
Pallbearers will be David Epperson, Wade Epperson, Lee Epperson, Bob Epperson, Russell Epperson, Dylan Epperson, Randy Mathews, Jack Avery, and Ronald Epperson.
Honorary pallbearers are friends and family.
