Full obituary from the Killeen Daily Herald on Mar 2, 2005 gives: Allie Macon COPPERAS COVE ? A private family service for Allie ?Maudie? Macon, 78, will be at a later date. The body will be cremated. Mrs. Macon died Feb. 28, 2005, at a Temple hospital. She was born May 28, 1926, in Center, where she was raised and educated. Mrs. Macon was a homemaker who had owned and operated Maudie?s Day Care for many years in Harker Heights. She had lived in Copperas Cove since 1984 and was a member of the Gospel Assembly in Balch Springs. Survivors include three sons, Art Sherrouse of Copperas Cove, Al Sherrouse of Bay Saint Louis, Miss., and Larry Macon of Basin, Mont.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Copperas Cove is in charge of arrangements.
