LAMBERT – Audrey D., 83, Hollsopple, died Nov. 16, 2014, at Windber Hospice. Born July 22, 1931, daughter of Ira and Matilda (McKinney) Harker. Preceded in death by parents and four siblings. Survived by husband of 63 years, Richard “Dick” Lambert; and children, Sherry, widow of John Jurgensen; Sandy, wife of Barry Marone; Kathy, wife of Richard Hoffman; Pam Lambert; and Kimberly, wife of Alan Brewer. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Sister of Elaine Hess, Beverly Furniss and Arnold Harker. Member of Christian Assembly Church. “Come sit have a cup of tea,” she’d say, “There’s freshly baked pie I just made today.” She welcomed all to her home, whether friend or foe with kindness of heart, her love she would show. She was wife, mother, grandmother and friend with an ever-listening ear to lend. Often poetry or a quote was spoken or a song sung as a token always her life for others lived. Seldom a thought for herself she would give. Through it all, she lived to bring all praise and glory to Jesus her king. Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, her husband, Pastor Dick Lambert, officiating. Interment, Custer Cemetery.
