Mrs. Ella Boenig Staton of 410 Village Drive, Apt. 129, died in Gonzales Saturday, April 12, at 5:35 p.m., and funeral services were held today, Monday at 4 p.m. from Seydler-Hill Funeral Chapel.
The Rev. Walter Lentz, pastor of the First Lutheran church, officiated with burial following in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Staton was born March 8, 1900 in Gonzales county, her parents being Emil Boenig and Mary Reinhart Boenig,natives of Comal county. She was married December 5, 1922, to Clyde Statom, and he died March 21, 1964. She was a member of the First Lutheran church and was a former resident of the Oak Forest Community.
