Billie Jean Cole, who resided in Springdale, Arkansas, formerly of Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014 in Springdale.
She was born June 16, 1930 in Charleston, Arkansas to the late Floyd Metcalf and Clenta (Sharp) Metcalf. She was 84 years old.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kinford Cole; one son, Randy Cornell; her granddaughter, Trisha Jones; one sister and four brothers.

Billie worked for Riverside Furniture in Fort Smith and was of the Freewill Baptist faith.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Lorne Scoggins officiating the service. Cremation arrangements and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her daughter, Paula Scoggins of Springdale; two sisters, Eulema Brown of Lavaca and Janet Pritchett of Greenwood; one brother, Alton Metcalf of McKinney, Texas; four grandsons, Lorne Scoggins and wife Ritchie of Lowell, Jody Scoggins of Springdale, Ross Scoggins and wife Misti of Fayetteville, and Justin Cornell and wife Shelby of Barling; fourteen great-grandchildren.
