Doris Catlin, 86, of Newton, NJ passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on September 28, 2012.
Doris was born in Orange, NJ and lived in Rockaway Township and Whiting, NJ before moving to Newton 12 years ago. She was a loving mother and she took care of her husband up until the time of her death.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Charles R. Catlin; devoted mother of Laura Hiler and her husband Robert of Sparta, NJ; Karen Coleman and her husband Steven of Victor, NY; grandson Sean Coleman and godchild Dave Burricelli. She also leaves behind her beloved dachshunds Oscar and Nate.
Friends may call Monday, October 1, 2012 from 4-8pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, E. Hanover, NJ.
