Obituary, Dailey Tribune, Feb 29, 1904:
--Injuries Proved Fatal--Former New Brighton Resident Died in McKeesport Hospital Saturday--

David B Wallis died in McKeesport Hospital on Saturday morning from injuries received by being struck by a Baltimore & Ohio passenger while crossing the railroad tracks at the McKeesport station on Tuesday last. His skull was fractured by the accident and he was injured internally.

Mr Wallis was age 78 years and was a former New Brighton resident but for some time had made his home with his daughter, Mrs Ada McClure, in McKeesport. After the accident occured, the unfortunate man never fully regained consciousness.

The deceased is survived by one daughter, above named; also two sons, J D Wallis of New Brighton and William Wallace of Ellwood.

The remains were brought to New Brighton today and taken to the home of J D Wallis, corner of 5th Ave and 4th St, where funeral services were held. The interment was in Grove Cemetery.
