Dennis R. Vaughn, 62 years old of Camp Lake, Trevor, WI passed away Sunday May 29, 2011 at his home. He was born Jan 15, 1949 in Carterville, IL the son of the late Herman and Geraldine (Rossin) Vaughn moving to the area in 1979. Dennis had been a fork lift operator retiring because of a disability. His interest included Camping, Coin Collecting, Collecting Eagle Items and Tinkering with his tools around his home and garage. On Jan 19, 1980 he married Lillian Holmquist in Lake Villa, IL and she preceded him in death on December 17, 1999. Survivors include his step daughter Denise Holmquist, his brother Gary (Janet), two sisters Connie (Tom) and Brenda (Sam) and a step granddaughter Kathleen Mercereau. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Ronnie and a sister Frankie Warnke. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday June 3, 2011 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main Street (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL with interment to follow in Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville, IL. Visitation will be from 4 until 8PM Thurs. June 2, 2011 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a family memorial.
