Mr. Ray L. Hix, Sr. had been a resident of Madera for the past 40 years. He retired as a dry wall finisher, but still enjoyed working with his sons to keep himself busy. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.

Ray is survived by his 2 sons, Ray L. Hix, Jr and his wife Alexis of Madera and Bill Hix and his wife Darla of Madera, his daughter Leann Pearce and her husband Ty of Fresno, his brother Robert Hix of Bonnerdale, AR. and his sister Helen McMillan of Rosamond, CA. He is the grandfather of Alin Hix, Arin Hix, Davis Hix, Dayton Hix, Cambria Hix and Tegan Rose Pearce.
