He was buried by Reed Brothers Tapley and Geiger of 721 Washington Boulevard. HIs wife Ruth T. Guild of 149 South Kingsley Drive was the informant. He died of arterioschlerosis of kidney (uremia) and generalized arterioschlerosis. He was a minister in the Methodist church. He was the son of Jonathan Ellis Guild born in Massachusetts and Sarah Ramsey born in New Hampshire.
