Eva Marie Bowles Bowman, 84 of Boones Mill, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2014. She was born April 24, 1930.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Amos R. Bowles.

Eva is survived by her husband Kenneth Bowman; sons, Jim Bowles (Danese), Charles Bowles (Rain), Amos Bowles (Marsha);daughters Kay Powell, Dorothy Parker, Barbara Bowles (Steve), Martha Bowles (P.J.); stepchildren, Nancy Bowman, J.K. Bowman (Doris), John Bowman (Sherry) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Eva loved her flowers, birds and her favorite past time were playing cards and bingo with her friends. She was a great homemaker, cook and great mother. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. Special thanks to the staff of Trinity Mission and all care givers. The family respectfully requests no food. Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2014 at The Bowles Family Cemetery, Lanahan Rd. with Pastor Eric Anspaugh officiating. Arrangements by Lynch Conner-Bowman Funeral Home, 140 Floyd Ave., Rocky Mount, Va.
