Laura A. Huber, 54 died on Wednesday, November 27, 2002, cradled in the love of her family after battling breast cancer that developed into bone
cancer. Laura was born February 27, 1948 in New York City (NYC) to Lawrence R. (deceased) and Mary Kane. Laura is survived by her husband of
34 years, Edward T., her daughter Jennifer R., her mother Mary, her step-father Stanley Kowalski, her three brothers, Stanley, Michael and Christopher Kowalski, and a host of many other relatives and friends. Her
brother, Lawrence Kane, also preceded her in death.

Laura graduated from Cathedral high School in NYC and attended the City College of New York (CCNY) for 2 years. She left CCNY in 1968 to embark on a life long romantic journey with Ed. Their 27 year adventure in the Air Force began in Bermuda, and continued through South Carolina, Texas, California, Hawaii, and finally Colorado Springs. In 1976, in Wichita Falls, Texas they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl. they made Colorado Springs their home in 1987 when Ed was assigned to Air Force Space Command.
Laura loved to be with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, live performances ad dinning with friends. She also enjoyed holiday decorating
and shopping for family and friends, especially at Christmas. Laura loved life, loved people and loved to laugh. Everyone who knew her will miss
her greatly.

Laura's family is very grateful for the prayers and support of their neighbors and friends. We are extremely thankful for all the loving and
compassionate care she received from her new friends on the medical and spiritual staff of Penrose Hospital, as well as the caring staff of the Rocky mountain Cancer Center.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Laura's memory to the fight against breast cancer. Laura's daughter Jennifer will
participate in the Avon Walk against Breast Cancer in Washington D.C. this coming April. Sponsors may register via www.avonwalk.org. or contributions may be made the Susan G. Komen foundation.

A vistation will be from 3pm-8pm Tuesday, December 3, 2002 at Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 (719.471.9900). A funeral mass will be 10am Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 6455 Brook Park Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80918. Fr. Brad Noonan will be the officiant. Interment will follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
