Melody, 64, of Michigan Center went home to be with the Lord Friday, November 14, 2014. Melody was the daughter of Leland F. and Eunice Grace (Nivison) Miller.

She is survived by three brothers, Jerry (Ruth) Miller, Phil (Sandy) Miller, and Brian Miller; two sisters, Denise (Philip) Moffitt, and Earleen (David) Grzesek; sister-in-law, Helen Miller; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Melody was a 1968 graduate of Parkside High School; attended Jackson Community College and Moody Bible Institute. She retired from Consumers Energy after 30+ years of service.

Melody was a member of New Horizon Community Church where a celebration of her life was held Wednesday, November 19, with Pastor Jerry Lyon officiating.

She loved mentoring children by teaching Sunday school, and going on youth trips. She enjoyed being with her family, baking, traveling, singing, and attending church. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
