Obituary for Peggy A Baillargeon

Peggy Ann Baillargeon went to her heavenly home on October 31, 2014. She passed peacefully in the comfort of her home and in the loving company of her family. Peggy’s prayers were answered as she survived to celebrate, along with her husband Jerry, their 44th wedding anniversary, on October, 17, 2014.

Peggy was born at the Osceola Hospital in Osceola, WI on September 9, 1950. She was the second of four children. She attended the Osceola School District throughout her primary and secondary education, she graduated high school in 1968 and later attended a specialized training program in Minneapolis.
On October 17, 1970 she married Gerald Maurice Baillargeon, of Somerset, WI, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Taylors Falls. Together they settled in St. Croix Falls, where they started a family and had three children; Angela, Daniel and Brian. Later, Peggy and her family moved to their Sand Lake home in Dresser, WI where Peggy would work as a home-maker and business partner in many ventures, along side Jerry.

Peggy and Jerry remained members of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, during their 44 years of marriage. She was an active participant in her faith community where she avidly volunteered. Peggy will be remembered most as a woman of faith, of family and of love. She will be forever treasured and greatly missed by all who knew her, especially by her beloved husband, children and grandchildren. She showed others how to live by her fine example as a child of God. She was a selfless giver, she was patient, private, dedicated, and trust worthy. She was an avid traveler, baker, motorcyclist, she was a gardener, a cross-country skier, and lover of Christmas, tigers and children. She loved the Lord and was ready to meet Him in heaven.

Peggy was preceded in death by her mother and father Maiona and Lawrence Minnichsoffer. Peggy is survived by her husband Jerry Baillargeon, children Angela (Steven) Ward, Daniel Baillargeon, and Brian (Rachel) Baillargeon. Grandchildren Lily, Emma and Cullen Baillargeon. Siblings James (Kathy) Minnichsoffer, Gordon (Valerie) Minnichsoffer, and Dorothy (Mick) Kaehler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
