Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 17, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Colonial Chapel, Rev. Steve Reneau officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Chad was born July 12, 1982 in Macon, Georgia, son of Ira and Susan Joy Herring. He was employed at Chilli's, Baptist by Faith, loved FSU football, all sports, loved to work, loved his Maw Maw Jeannie, and his girlfriend Valerie. He was preceded in death by his step grandmother Vialita Freeman, Step brother, James Daniel Herring, Maternal Grandfather, William Monroe, uncle, Louis McDuffie, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Surviving are his mother Joy Herring and step mom Jeannie Ingram of Smiths Station, AL, Father, Ira Herring of Columbus, GA, maternal grandmother, Patricia Monroe of Springfield, TN son, Ellis Herring of Tallahassee, FL sister, Amber Herring of Columbus, GA step sisters, Page Ingram of Smiths Station and Nicole Huckaby of Warner Robbins, GA step brother, Wesley Ingram of Smiths Station Five Aunts, Four Uncles, a niece, and many cousins.
