James Conrad Terry, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away November 12, surrounded by his loving family.

Jim was born Dec. 10, 1943 in Bedford, IN to Wilma Minger Terry and Yank Terry. He served in the U.S. Army before completing his degree at Indiana University and attaining his CPA certification. Jim retired from an accounting career in the banking industry.

Jim is survived by his dearly loved partner Lynn Crosby Wilson; daughters Angela Thompson of Carmel and Laura Zapp (David) of Fishers; brothers Michael (Suzanne) of Odessa, Fla. and Patrick (Diana Jo) of Bedford; sister-in-law Barbara Terry of Bedford; grandchildren Maxwell and Kelsie Thompson and Isabella Zapp; nieces Brett of Indianapolis and Erin of Clearwater, Fla.; nephews Matthew of Odessa, Fla. and Ryan (Jaymie) of Bedford; great nephew Joshua Daniel of Bedford; and all of Lynn's family. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ronald and nephew Joshua.

Truly a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan, Jim attended games as an infant when his father pitched for the team, and he had the pleasure this summer of taking in a game with Lynn, his daughters and their families.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Monday, November 17 at Flanner and Buchanan-Carmel. A Memorial service will be held at Second Presbyterian Church (7700 North Meridian St.) on Tuesday, November 18 at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon at Woodstock Club.
