Banks, Vaughn Clarence - 59, Torbrook Mines, Annapolis County, died March 24, 1994, at home. Born in Torbrook Mines, he was a son of the late Leslie and Margaret (Hatt) Banks. He is survived by three daughters, Mona (Mrs. Mark Pearl), Kentville; Janet, Halifax; Darlene, Torbrook Mines; three sons, Dwight, Clarence, Annapolis County, Eric, Oromocto, N.B.; Nelson, Dartmouth; his wife, the former Virginia Comeau; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Pawson, Torbrook Mines; Mrs. Reta Banks. Mrs. Wanda Bezanson, both of Kingston; Mrs. Pansy Cochrane, Edmonton, Alta.; brother, Neil, Kelowna, B.C.; several nieces and nephews; six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Vera. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Burial will be in Torbrook Mines United Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to Soldiers Memorial Hospital.
