OBITUARY: Michael S. Huppert

Michael S. Huppert, well known farmer and a life-long resident of Trimbelle township, died at his home Tuesday forenoon after an illness of two months duration. He was 52 years old. He had an energetic, ambitious character, and served his community in various ways. The funeral services were held Friday forenoon at the Big River Catholic Church, Rev. Father Pinion officiating. Interment was made in the Big River Cemetery. Besides his wife, deceased is survived by his aged mother, Mrs. Christine Huppert, six children; Louis, Henry, Arney, Harold, Irene and Vanada, all at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Valentine Buss and Mrs. Ben Firner.

Dear husband and father: How we miss you in days that have gone by, although we know it was God who took you to the world of peace and joy. The Lord said you have finished, you have now a crown in heaven, but we know that we shall meet you when our journey here is o'er. Oh how fondly we will greet you, for we'll meet to part no more. The flowers we lay upon you grave may wither and decay, but love for you dear husband and father will never fade away.
