The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M., Thursday from 11 A.M. – 9 P.M., and Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services at Upper Cumberland Funeral Home.
Mrs. Meadows passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2005, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee.
She was born February 23, 1930, in Jackson County to the late John and Cleo Johnson Wilmoth. On September 29, 1950, she was married to the late James “Junior” Meadows, who passed away on August 17, 2003. Mrs. Meadows was a housewife and a member of the Gainesboro First Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 4 Brothers: Willis Wilmoth, James Wilmoth, Joe Wlmoth, and Robert Wilmoth; and 2 Sisters: Mary Nealon
and Dorothy Harper.
Survivors include 1 Daughter: Mary Helen Rush of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Granddaughter: Christina Rush of Gainesboro, TN; and 2 Brothers: Johnny Wilmoth of Nashville, TN, and Henry Wilmoth of Gainesboro, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Bro. Damon Corley will officiate at the services.
