Charles was a loyal and loving husband, dad, grandfather, and uncle. He was a life member of the Corning Elks where he spent many Sundays playing cards and watching football. He also worked for 30 years at Crystal City Bakery. He owned his own bakery route for many years and helped his son Don, at his business, Faulisi's Newsstand on Market Street. After retiring, he worked as a superintendent of parking for the City of Corning for 15 years. Charles also enjoyed going on bus trips to casinos with friends. He also looked forward to the yearly family reunions.
He is survived by his 3 sons: Charles (Pheap) Faulisi, Jr., Donald (Mary) Faulisi, Tony (Sharon) Faulisi; 8 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Charles was predeceased by his brothers: Joseph Faulisi, Frank Faulisi, James Faulisi, Thomas J. Faulisi, and Nicholas Faulisi; sisters, Lucy Faulisi and Lena Faulisi.
All are welcome to join Charles's family and friends at Carpenters Funeral Home, LLC, 14 East Pulteney Street, on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Church on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 1:00PM. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Helen, immediately following at St. Mary's Cemetery.
