Born March 7, 1956, to the late Donald A. Nelson and Ann L. (Rempel) Nelson, Daryl spent most of his younger years in Minnesota with his late brother, Greg, before moving to Prescott Valley in 1970.
In addition to his family, one of Daryl's proudest achievements was building his trucking company from the ground up. Nelson Trucking is a glowing example of how Daryl lived his life through diligence, hard work, and passion. Daryl valued dearly those relationships made through his business.
Daryl is survived by his wife, Lorrie, their daughter, Keli (Armando) Jauregui, and grandchildren Charleigh, Adrian, and Jakob Daryl, along with many beloved extended family members, both near and far.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. with funeral services at 2:00, Monday, September 29, 2014 at Heritage Memory Mortuary 131 Grove Ave. Prescott, AZ.
His family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all close friends, family, and colleagues, who have offered their support and love. We truly appreciate you. He had a good life, now he'll have a good rest. Cheers!
