There were 4 Johnson brothers who came to the Boston area from the Baltimore area of Maryland - Absalom, William III, Thomas and Elisha. William, Absalom, and Thomas all settled within a couple miles of each other near Boston. Unfortunately, William died in 1808, shortly after settling in Nelson County. He was buried near where he settled (on the waters of Lick Creek), in what's now recorded as the Johnson-Mobley cemetery, just south of Thompson-Dones Rd.
