TOM CLAYTON, 92, of 1221 Manassas, retired sanitation department employee of the City of Clarksdale, Miss., died of cardiac arrest Monday at St. Joseph Hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ellis Grove Baptist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Woodhaven Memory Gardens Cemetery. N. J. Ford & Sons Funeral Home has charge.
Mr. Clayton, the widower of Mary Clayton, leaves three daughters, Ollie Mae Taylor, Helen McAfee and Nancy Hall, and three sons, Earnest Clayton, Johnnie Clayton and Emmanuel Clayton, all of Memphis; 25 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
