She was a native of Baltimore and attended Vasser College. Mrs. Knox was an early leader in nursery school education in the Baltimore area, having been associated with the first experimental nursery school in that city.
Surviving are her husband, John; 2 sons, including Dr. Knox of Olney; 3 daughters and a foster daughter.
