Tamara Jeanne “Tammi” Simmons, 55, of Mayfield, KY died Monday at 5:30 pm at her home.
Tammi was born on September 20, 1959 to Buddy and Mattie Duncan Simmons. She retired from the Mayfield/Graves County Fire Department as an Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic. She also had worked at Jackson Purchase Medical Center Emergency Room. She attended the Church of Christ. An avid motorcycle rider, Tammi loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and was a member of Patriot Guard Riders.
She is survived by her best friend of 34 years, “Porky” Parker of Mayfield; her mother, Mattie Duncan Simmons of Mayfield; a brother, Greg Simmons of Melber; two nephews, Kyle and Jacob Simmons; and her two beloved Boston Terriers, Sassy Marie and Harley D.
She was preceded in death by her father, Buddy Simmons.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Allcock Cemetery.
