Charlene Marie Ross, 75, passed away peacefully 11/9/14. Born 9/20/39 to Karl and Louetta Peery Pack. Raised by Harold and Louetta Meldrum. Married Kent Olson, Later divorced. Then married the love of her life, Gordon Doyle Ross.

She worked as a car hop at Zizzi’s, and was a CNA. Growing up she was on a synchronized swimming team and went roller skating whenever she could. She loved camping and fishing. She had an unlimited love for animals and also loved bowling, going to Bingo and Wendover with her Mother.

Preceded in death by parents and husband. Survived by her children Rodney (Robin) Olson, Max (Nancy) Ross, David R Chase (LaMar Nay), Cindy (Cory) Wardell, Sister Nadene (Guy) Matthews, and Brother Gary (Angela) Meldrum. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 10 Great-Grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 12pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens located at 1950 E. 10600 S. in Sandy at the northwest end. Viewing from 10:00-11:45am prior to graveside in the main building. In lieu of flowers, tax deductible donations may be made to The Friends for Unified Police, 2376 Cinnabar Lane Salt Lake City, Utah 84121 to help purchase ballistic vests for K-9’s.
