Paul Clark Kuykendall, age 73 of Bellingham, WA, passed away at his residence March 11, 2002. He was born May 2, 1928 in Bowling Green, KY, to T. K. and Elizabeth (Schultz) Kuykendall. He was a graduate of Dupont High School in Old Hickory, TN and was awarded All State HalfBack. Paul married Peggy Nunamaker in Old Hickory, TN June 6, 1953. He served in the U.S. Navy 1948 to 1952 where he was an Aviation Electrician. Mr. Kuykendall was the Director of Labor and Industries for Washington State. He worked for that agency for 27 years before retiring. After retirement, they wintered at Sun Vista Park in Yuma, AZ. Mr. Kuykendall was a member of the Elks Club and Democratic Party. He enjoyed golf, coached local softball, and refereed local High School football and basketball.

Preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Kuykendall. Survived by his sons Bradley Kuykendall of Nashville, TN, Brian Kuykendall of Bellingham, WA, daughter-in-law Jennifer Kuykendall of Bellingham, WA, daughter Brenda Hall of Sumner, WA, son-in-law Don Hall of Sumner, WA, grandsons, Sean Kuykendall of Nashville, TN, Ryan, Evan and Forest Kuykendall all of Bellingham, WA, Taylor Hall of Sumner, WA, granddaughter Blair Hall of Sumner, WA, friend Beverly Huffman of Yuma, AZ, sisters, Wanda Wilson of Nashville, TN and Marjorie Vardell of Corpus Christi, TX
